AmeriStar Car Shipping Process

Wondering how car shipping works? This step-by-step guide explains the entire AmeriStar car shipping process, from booking your shipment to final vehicle delivery. Whether you’re relocating, buying a vehicle, or shipping seasonally, this resource helps you prepare every step of the way.

Once you accept our shipping quote, we’ll send you the main agreement via email, fax, or mail. Sign and return it along with your deposit (certified cheque, credit card, or money order). You can also access our terms and order form online.

A timetable for the transportation of your vehicle will be created after the necessary money and signed agreement have been received.

The driver will contact the individual at the origin to arrange a time for pick-up once a carrier has been assigned.

The driver will inspect your vehicle at pickup and provide a copy of the report to the release person. Once done, your car will be loaded along with other scheduled vehicles for delivery.

The driver will call you to arrange a delivery time within 24 hours of the delivery.

After delivery, inspect the vehicle and note any damage. At pickup, ensure all observations are recorded and signed by the authorized release person. Before signing, mark any damages not listed on the bill of lading. For damage claims, contact #1AmeriStarCarShipping. If the full transport fee isn’t prepaid, the driver will only accept the balance in cash or certified check.
